I need a full armor set from there and I've only done each path once until now. The problem is, that if you look at gw2lfg.com, people only search full berserker warriors. Sometimes they also search a few other classes though, provided they are fully equipped with exotics (preferably full berserker as well; equip will be checked) and are able to run through the dungeon while sleeping. (I'm not gonna rage about what I think of those silly elitist f***t*r*s)

Being as it is, I'll probably never get my exotic armor from this dungeon. Looks like I'll just have to farm and craft it. Unless... unless some of you would team up with me. So, feel free to post here if you'd be willing to and we can arrange something.

P.S.: I've only done the dungeon once before and it was far from being a speedrun (none of BB had done it before). But I've got a brain, and if you are patient enough to explain something I don't know yet instead of just ragequitting, we'll be fine.

P.S. 2: For the case you don't know yet; I'm a Mesmer. Lvl 80. Not full exo. Not full berserker. Not very experienced in CoF yet. And thinking I should finish this post now, because the rage is tempting (oh cool idea; I could ask some of those guys if "raging" counts as "full berserker" too ).

this stupidity about CoF ChinoKorean runs is one of the reasons some guilds split.
I hate "only certain classes and certain equip" sentence when we are talking about an istance that takes 10minutes max (path 1).

I understand that there are true CoF Path 1 farmers (50+ runs per day) and for them the difference between 7 and 10 minutes is "important", but for casual player or people who needs to equip should not be so critical.

Send me a mail ingame and I'll give you some names of regular CoF runners in my guild who don't bother about equip / calss / spec.

Btw, why would someone run the same path more than once a day with the same character? Can't be for the rewards at the end, as they decrease. Also not for the loot of the mobs, as speedrunners usually skip whatever they can skip. So why?

Badges, i believe. The amount you get decreases but you still get them, correct me if wrong, plus the chest at end might drop something nice

And the badges, to then turn 30 badges into a rare, to salvage.

I salvaged 21 helms at one point, I had accidentally stackedu p on a lot of badges

It's because of the silver from the 1st and last boss.

money. in 6-7 minutes of a speedfarm you can do 60-70 silver with the appropriate buff (+40% gold) plus drop yuo can even do more even with the reduction.
And as it is an istance, there is no one who can spoil your farming tour.

Been busy setting up my new laptop.
Took me a week to get it all sorted cause the first one i recieved was dead on arrival, didn't boot up.
Then i had to get the internet connection fixed.

So now i will be active again since GW2 will noz be playable for me
Having to relearn all my keybinds is a bitch though :p

I have never done CoF myself, but i heard it is one of the esier ones and is farmed regulary, that being the reaon why so many people wear CoF armor
So if you're goig for CoF for the armor, remember you will have a lot of dopplegangers walking around.

PS: if you see me type weird words involving w's, q's, a's, z's, it's cause i switched from an azerty keyboard to a qwerty keyboard, no need to call an exorcist

I was actually very tempted to craft it, but since I'm planning to also get a second armor-set at some point with some pieces having knight stats, I think it makes more sense to craft those, because they are harder to (dungeon-)farm.

For me it was easiest to farm Cursed Shore events and craft whatever armor I wanted

Yes, I'm planning to look at farming Orr for my second armor set (since I've spent like 6-7 gold to get tailoring from around 160 to 400 last week). I'm really curious how many T6-mats I will get there... I've never set foot on Orr yet, despite playing since the Karka event and being lvl 80 since uhm... dunno... somewhen in november/december maybe? I forgot xD. But that's gonna change very soon. ^^

Also, I already had the pleasure to do path 1 and 2 today; thanks again!

I now have my first exotic piece of armor (chest, for 390 badges). ^^
