At our last WvW Discussion meeting we came to the conclusion that these once a week events did not yield enough right now, and restricting when to teach might not be the best of ideas.

We are however encouraging everyone to always bring in new people to the parties they are running and teach them the ropes.

This way it opens up to anyone to help out without taking too big of a commitment.

On my part, I might take this up again, but now this Monday seemed very busy yet again, so I might need to reschedule when.

And I always wanted to join once, and I always missed it. :(

Though I think I know most of it already anyway; but you never know! ^^

I just had a thought :), although not a rare event, this one might have actually been useful so I will write it down: Most potential WvW newcommers will most likely not be on the forum yet, let alone TS, so what if, let's say 30min prior to an event we send one person to each PvE map as announcer? If we would be able to put the people gathered, who don't want to be on TS under one commander, we could provide a nice learning experience. If needed we could even, if their number is great enough, put them on another map for multi-front warfare :)

We haven't had these events in quite a while. Mostly because not really anyone except for me were trying to do them.

Instead I just try to weave it into everything I do when I lead, or when someone else leads :)

This topic should probably be unstickied :)

GoT still does this for all Dutch players, though the basic training is almost scrapped from the agenda; a so called 'advanced' training is hosted every sunday =)

GoT still does this for all Dutch players, though the basic training is almost scrapped from the agenda;

Our basic training is for people who have never or only a few times entered WvW and is goal-ed towards getting them ready to play more WvW.
since this is quite basic players only have to attend once, thats why we do not have it very often.
we also have a commander training but thats for another topic.

(We will soon make another topic which has our complete WvW program in it.)
